Since leaving the Royal Air Force in 1997 John Nichol has been involved in
a number of TV roles. He has been a consultant and presenter for BBC, Sky &
ITV
news, Cutting Edge and World In Action and filmed documentaries and lifestyle
programmes for all of the major channels:
HEROES (GMTV) - A 5 part series
highlighting the incredible work and extraordinary courage of some of the
nation's rescue workers like the RNLI, First Response & Mountain Rescue.
SURVIVORS – 2 series (REGIONAL) – Devised and
presented by John Nichol, a series of six half-hour programmes. Frank, intimate
and revealing conversations with people who have experienced life changing
events including model Heather Mills, IRA victim Colin Parry, mountaineer Chris
Bonnington and war veteran Simon Weston. More than an interview; an exchange of
experiences and lessons learnt.

REALLY USEFUL SHOW (BBC) - Consumer checking the
weekend activities available through the small ads. Everything from llama
trekking on the South Downs, falconing in Scotland and quad biking in Wales.
CUTTING EDGE (CH4) - The search for the truth
surrounding the 1994 crash of an RAF helicopter which claimed the lives of 29
RAF/MI5 personnel. Had the MOD told the truth?
NEWSNIGHT (BBC) - How had the military's attitude to
the press changed from WWI to the present day?
THE RESCUERS (REGIONAL) - Working with the men and
women of the volunteer rescue services who give up their time and money to save
